A Living Temple of the Highest Tantric Order
The Kodumudi Magudeswarar Temple, located on the banks of the sacred Kaveri river in Erode district of Tamil Nadu, is one of the very few living temples in Bharat where the complete traditional infrastructure for the most powerful classical remedies still exists. Unlike modern temples that have lost the ritual continuity of the elephant, cow and horse services, Kodumudi preserves all three — making it uniquely capable of hosting the Gajendra, Go and Ashwa poojas at their full scriptural potency.
The temple is one of only three places in Bharat where Lord Brahma is worshipped alongside Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu in a unified sanctum — a rare Trimurti consecration that gives the temple its distinctive spiritual authority to alter destiny through the Brahma Hundi ritual. This unbroken tradition, combined with the flowing sacred waters of the Kaveri, makes Kodumudi the ideal location for the eight-fold Sarva Dosha Nivarana pilgrimage.
Sri Guruji Durga Prasad Garu has been associated with the temple's tantric services for over two decades. All specialized remedial poojas of Varaahi Sakthi Peetam — Sarpadosha Nivarana, Kuja Dosha, Shatru Samhara, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Gajendra, Go, Ashwa and the grand Sarva Dosha pilgrimage — are personally conducted by him at Kodumudi. Devotees may travel to the temple or, for those unable to physically attend, participate through proxy sankalpam facilitated by our team.

Sarva Dosha Nivarana — 8-Fold Destiny Overhaul
Conducted at the sacred riverbanks of Kodumudi Temple. A complete, systematic procedure to dissolve lifetimes of accumulated dosha in a single pilgrimage.

Age-Based Water Ritual
Devotees carry water from the sacred Kaveri to the Naga Idols in measures matching their exact age in years. This age-based abhisheka begins the process of washing away every year of active snake dosha accumulated across the current lifetime, restoring the flow of prana blocked by serpent karma.

Purva Janma Karma Vimochana
The seeker submerges into the holy river three times with a symbolic clay doll (a traditional 'kudam' effigy). The doll absorbs the seeker's past-life karmic residue and is left in the flowing waters, structurally leaving past-life sins behind before the main pooja begins.

Sarpa Shanti Pooja
A powerful 9-Kalasa liturgical layout is prepared. A protective silver Naga deity token is energized through the full Sarpa Shanti mantra sequence, empowered by Guruji before being carried by the devotee for the river immersion phase.

Vendi Pamu Pradakshina
The consecrated silver snake token is circled around the seeker's head 9 times in a specific clockwise pradakshina. This ritually extracts and casts off deep-set evil eye influences (nazar / drishti) that have attached themselves over time.

Horoscope Inscription & Brahma Hundi Placement
The seeker's complete birth chart is inscribed onto a small copper sheet known as Ragi Reku. The plate is placed in the hands of Lord Brahma inside the sanctum and dropped into the temple's sacred Hundi, ritually invoking Brahma to rewrite the destiny line under his divine glance.

Gaja Pooja & Tantric Drishti Removal
The sacred temple elephant is invited. Coconuts are placed beneath its feet and crushed as it walks, ritually crushing accumulated negative energy and drishti. This immediately activates Gaja Lakshmi financial blessings — one of the rarest and most potent classical remedies for wealth blocks.

Go Pooja
Direct worship and feeding of the sacred temple cow, embodiment of 33 crore devatas. This step systematically invites the permanent grace of Goddess Lakshmi Devi and settles ancestral karma (pitru dosha) into peace.

Ashwa Pooja
The concluding step — a grand horse ritual yielding spiritual merits equivalent to performing a full Ashwamedha Yagam. This blesses the seeker with rapid forward motion in career, elections, business breakthroughs and commanding public respect.
Preparing for Your Pilgrimage
The Sarva Dosha Nivarana pilgrimage requires a single day at Kodumudi, but preparation begins 7 days in advance. Devotees observe a light sattvic diet, avoid alcohol and non-vegetarian food, and practice basic silence and mantra recitation as guided by our team. On the day of the ritual, you will arrive at the temple in the early morning hours, meet Guruji, complete the sankalpam, and proceed through all eight stages in a continuous sequence that concludes by late afternoon.
