Sarpadosha Nivarana Pooja

సర్పదోష నివారణ పూజ

Absolute relief from serpent curses, ancestral naga afflictions and Rahu–Ketu planetary blocks.

Half-day ritual — typically 4 to 5 hours

Importance of this Pooja

Sarpadosha, or the serpent affliction, is among the most stubborn karmic imprints recorded in Vedic astrology. It arises when snakes have been harmed knowingly or unknowingly by ancestors, when Rahu and Ketu occupy sensitive houses in the birth chart, or when unresolved naga worship has accumulated across lineage. Left unaddressed, it manifests as delayed marriage, repeated miscarriages, chronic skin ailments and unexplained obstacles in every fresh beginning. The Sarpadosha Nivarana Pooja is the classical remedial rite prescribed in the Naga Kanda of the Skanda Purana and the Brahmanda Purana for the systematic dissolution of this affliction.

Why This Pooja Is Required

  • Persistent delay in marriage even after multiple proposals reach the discussion stage.
  • Repeated miscarriages, difficulty conceiving, or infants born with recurring health concerns.
  • Chronic skin allergies, eczema, or unexplained itching that no medication seems to cure.
  • Recurring nightmares involving snakes or being chased by shadowy figures.
  • Rahu or Ketu placed in the 1st, 5th, 7th, 8th, or 12th house of the birth chart.
  • Family history of harming serpents, destroying anthills, or neglecting naga shrines.

Key Benefits

  • Cleansing of seven generations of naga karma.
  • Restoration of fertility and healthy progeny.
  • Removal of stagnation in career and personal growth.
  • Marital harmony and timely alliances.

How the Ritual Unfolds

When you book the Sarpadosha Nivarana Pooja, our team first collects your birth details and Guruji personally studies your horoscope to confirm the remedy and identify the exact planetary windows for maximum efficacy. On the day of the ritual, at the sacred Kodumudi Temple, Guruji begins with the traditional Sankalpam — the formal declaration of intent naming the seeker's family lineage. This is followed by Ganapati puja for obstacle-removal, the invocation of the presiding deity through the prescribed mantric sequences, the offering of samagri into the homakundam, kalasha abhisheka, and finally the distribution of prasadam and consecrated items for the devotee to carry home. Following the ritual, Guruji provides a detailed debrief explaining what has been resolved and what post-pooja disciplines to observe over the following 45 days.
